This rifle was built for both target and varmint applications and features an excellent balance point, superior heads-up line of sight with fantastic trigger and optic. It weighs a medium 6 lbs. and was finished for a full size adult in grip and length of pull (med/large hand size with 13.75" LOP) and features a superior optic.
This rifle is very reasonably priced for what it is and is one of the first wooden stocked customs I have had available for quite some time.

The stock is finished in satin and fit to an adult with small - medium hands. The Raptor is the best fitting, quickest to the eye stock made for the 10/22. It is ergonomically correct for hand and head position. These stocks are a dream to shoot with. If you like the Barracuda - you will love the Raptor.
The trigger pulls at slightly over 2 1/2 lbs and is very smooth and crisp.

This is a customized and fully upgraded SR-22. This is Ruger's new version of a rifle that I first built in 2004 known as the "Bad-Ass" Tactical. I have built many versions of the Bad-Ass over the years with each one different. This is a complete up-grade of the stock Ruger copy of my original design.

This rifle has a sweeeet trigger (2 lb. 8 oz.), is extremely well balanced and weighs 7 lbs. 6oz. It is only 31.5" long when collapsed and 34.5" when extended. You get the fit, look and feel of a tricked out AR-15 without the cost of ammo. These rifles are not known to be ammo sensitive as some other imports are reported to be and I have received many reports of 5-shot groups being 1/2" - 3/4" at 50 yards. That is about 50% - 60% better than all of the imported tactical .22s that I have tested. These rifles also love to shoot Stingers and Velocitors unlike other imported tacticals. The only thing needed to get to consistent total match accuracy of 1/2" or less at 50 would be a barrel upgrade. My sources at Ruger have told me that this cold forged threaded barrel was a completely new design and process for this rifle alone. It was designed to be very accurate out of the box and leave the competitor's weapons in the dust with respect to accuracy, parts availability, reliability and quality.
This weapon system is ready for the range, varmint eradication or home defense. It will accept any AR-15 accessory and will work with a multitude of magazines that are readily available. I function tested this rifle with 3 different brands of ammo and it took them all without issue. I used bulk "cheapo" ammo, standard and hyper-velocity rounds. It ate them all and was ready for more. It loves hollow-points.
You get Ruger's ever reliable 10/22 rifle with some of the best new custom components. My "Bad-Ass" rifles are accurate, reliable, cheap to shoot and are easy to upgrade. What more do you want? Sure these custom tactical .22s can cost as much as an AR-15 to build but the one big difference is the cost of ammo. These guys will accurately shoot cheap off the shelf ammo all day long. A whole day at the range will only cost you $40 for ammo. I can run $40 worth of ammo through my AR-15 in about 10 minutes! Maintenance on a 10/22 is easier and takes 1/4 the time. More shooting = more fun. Pretty simple.

This assembly has the same trigger job performed on it that over 95% of my customers have requested for decades.
Match job on your assembly. What you get: New Volquartsen match hardened hammer, springs and shims; jig alignment of internal sub-assembly parts (sear, disconnect & trigger); polish strut assembly; polish and radius trigger return plunger; polish magazine retainer plunger; install auto bolt release; test all functions. This is the large body high power tactical laser that uses the CR123 batteries commonly used in high dollar flashlights and tactical accessories. It is fully adjustable in both X & Y axis as well as fully adjustable for windage & elevation. The laser and mounts are of aircraft aluminum. This is a green (daytime) tactical laser. This high power green laser is in field use through-out the world. It provides up to 100 yard beam visibility in subdued daylight or 50 yards in sunlight. It has a 5 watt maximum output at 532nm and is not a toy! It is extremely bright and can severely damage the eyes if beam makes contact with them. It alone would be an awesome defensive weapon against an attacker. The beam is highly visible at night and can be seen for 5 miles (over 9,000 yards). Hardened and cryoed factory bolt with match extractor, spring and firing pin. The bolt face is squared and the head space is corrected as needed. The side is jeweled for great looks.

Factory fresh handle & spring. This is an ideal way to renew the bolt timing for proper function and smoothness. Most factory bolt/recoil springs get weak at about 5,000 rounds. This is the cheapest way to get the cycling of the bolt back to new specs.
Ends the frustrating two handed release of the bolt once you have locked it open. Once installed, all you have to do to close the bolt is to pull back slightly on the handle and let go. Presto, you are in battery and ready to begin firing.

I designed this custom “cushioned” extended magazine release. A simple flip forward with your finger and the magazine drops out. No more fumbling trying to find the right place to push up on a factory release! The cushioned lever is ½” long and won’t mar the paint on your vehicle if you happen to rest your rifle on it.
These are the new Ruger factory wide extended magazine releases used on the target rifles and the Charger pistols. They make for easy release and changing of magazines. No more two-handed "fumbling" and trying to find the right place to press to release your magazine.

Slip this Delrin guide over the muzzle with the port up. Start a patch into the guide stopping at the port. Use the pipette supplied to squeeze cleaning solvent into the port saturating the patch. Push patch through the barrel and return. Repeat until dry patches are clean.

These buffers are exclusive here and meet all my requirements for a bolt buffer.
These buffers do not wear out prematurely like softer buffers do nor do they change the rebound "timing" of the rifle like some softer ones do. I have seen many ejection/extraction problems over the years directly caused by buffers that were too soft and allowed too fast of a rebound of the bolt. These Turcite X buffers provide the correct lock time while keeping the shock load from being transferred entirely to the receiver. In short - they really work.
Turcite X is a synthetic material that has the following properties: low friction, self lubricating, maintenance free, long wearing, chemical resistent and moisture proof. It is specifically designed for shock load applications and possesses extremely low expansion properties. It is used throughout the aircraft and automotive industries where metal to metal contact occurs and a bearing is not feasible.
I have used, tested and abused all the other buffers available for the 10/22. Some are good and some are junk. These guys are as good as it gets. I have custom rifles with these in them that have fired many thousands of rounds without a problem and without needing changed.
They are slightly oversized by .002 so that when installed in the receiver they do not "walk" or rotate in their holes. The problem of receiver holes being too large and the buffer pin falling out when servicing the rifle is over. Once installed the buffer is custom fit to your individual receiver.
They come with complete photo instructions for installation. They are extremely easy to install and will extend the service life of your bolt and receiver without hurting the rifle's performance.
