This full custom "Theme Rifle" was designed to be totally unique, accurate and just plain fun.

For this project I took a standard Ruger hardwood stock & enlarged the barrel channel to accomodate a .920 barrel. Mel Barboza of MI covered the stock with several varieties of Rattlesnake skins (Western Diamondback and Timber) along with some Python accents. I then added an extended butt pad and swivel studs. Snake skin is extremely durable and tough. With normal use it will outlast the rifle.

For the barreled action I used: match threaded barrel by Whistle Pig with stainless steel JP Enterprises brake; new series Ruger receiver; custom one-off "diamond prism" match bolt assembly by Heier and Chuck of Red Mist Maker; custom Heier/Red Mist logo bolt handle; Heier Super-Match trigger assembly with Volquartsen, Tactical Solutions and Ballistic Specialties parts; raised billet scope base from Power Custom; billet combat rings; Mueller APV target scope (4.5-14x40AO).

This custom rifle is another of my series of "Harley" theme rifles. It is the first one ever using the new Viper stock from Predator Stocks and the first one using the HD corporate orange/black color combo. The stock is a true "ambidextrous" stock and allows both LH and RH shooters the same fit.

This custom was built for K. Jones of the great state of Texas. He wanted a rifle with a fit for a full sized adult that could be used for both target shooting and varmint hunting. This full custom silver & black varmint special was designed primarily for the serious varmint shooter that occasionally goes to the range. The trigger assembly on this one is a two-stage, 3lb.,smooth pull system that was built for that "finger-on-trigger" style of shooting used in varmint hunting where early fires with semi-autos are all too common with a target trigger.

This rifle is sound suppressor ready and loaded with "one-off" custom features.

This full custom target/varmint rifle was made using numerous "one-off" features.

The stock is a fully custom hand fitted and finished Richard's Micro-Fit with 10 coats of hand rubbed Tru-Oil. The barrel is a Whistle Pig match aluminum threaded one with flutes. The custom weighted comp (fake suppressor) AND a custom muzzle brake are from Mike at AlumaliteUSA.  The receiver is the new 2011 Ruger smooth finish item. The match bolt is jeweled and has a custom Heier/Red Mist large knurled billet logo bolt handle. The Heier Super-Match trigger assembly features Volquartsen match internals, Ballistic Specialties billet trigger, Heier/TSL billet lever magazine release and automatic bolt release. A Power Custom raised billet scope base gets the scope into proper "heads-up" position; A Tru-Glo 6-24X44AO target scope with fine X-hairs and shade is used. This scope is paralax adjustable from 15 yards and is perfect for very small targets.

The comp was designed to mimic the real silencer that has been ordered for this weapon. It gives him the look and feel of the real one so that he can shoot and enjoy the rifle while he waits for the Feds to process his paperwork.

I built this rifle for Larry Stephenson of Livingston, MT. Larry is the longtime state treasurer for the Friends of The NRA and had been unsuccessful at winning one of the numerous raffle rifles I have made for the "Friends" over the years. This year he decided to have one built and with his wife's blessing and support got it for his/her anniversary. Way to go Cathy!

This custom was built using a conventional style Walnut rifle stock and was designed to handle a high volume of rounds without barrel heating issues.

The idea with this rifle was to stay with a more conventional look by using a standard style stock but to go full custom with all the components. I wanted a very accurate & reliable varmint shooter that could stand up to a high volume of firing - yet remain cool and reliable.

This tactical is a full-tilt-boogey version of my "Bad-Ass" series of 10/22 custom tacticals.

I built this one as if it were mine to keep (knowing that I couldn't). I chose the components and designed the "look" that I wanted on my own personal rifle.

From the daytime green laser to the instant detach tac light to the push button Grip-Pod - this was designed to be a complete weapon system. Terrific fire-power, fantastic accuracy, Ruger 10/22 reliability and cheap ammo are what it is about. This one was fun to build!

As with all my tacticals the barrel is threaded and finished  with a "one-off" custom aluminum compensator from Mike. These are the best and most unique thread-on barrel attachments for tactical weapons on the planet. Mike - thank you for your awesome work and help on my builds.

This tactical is a full-tilt-boogey version of my "Bad-Ass" series of 10/22 custom tacticals that I have been building for years. All are completely unique and use many one-off custom parts available nowhere else.

I used all the best available parts and technology from Nordic, Whistle Pig, Tactical Inc., ATI, Yankee Hill, New Century, Panther, Pro-Mag and of course Mike "The Machinist" of AlumaliteUSA.

From the daytime green laser to the ultra-light swivel bi-pod to the quick detach (lever throw) military optic - this was designed to be a complete weapon system. Terrific fire-power, fantastic accuracy, Ruger 10/22 reliability and cheap ammo are what it is about.

The barrel is a silver aluminum Whistle Pig 16.5" threaded match barrel. The barrel comp is an extremely unique slip-over design from Mike "The Machinist" of AlumaliteUSA. These are simply the most unique and well built muzzle attachments made for any weapon. The barrel has standard 1/2 x 28 military threads and is suppressor ready.

This one has had the stocked set in a fixed position and the compensator permanently attached to be in compliance with MA law. Oh, it also is not being delivered with a high-cap mag. Seems that they are evil in MA also! Must be hundreds if not thousands of innocent people in MA have been slaughtered by the evil 10/22 with high-cap mags! Go figure.

This custom rifle was built for Ryan Ruffato of right here in the beautiful Gallatin Valley. It was Ryan's first custom rifle of any kind and he was very specific about what he was after. I used his "old reliable" 10/22 as the base for the build.

I used the T-Rex ambidextrous stock; Whistle Pig threaded silver barrel; match bolt upgrade; custom billet logo extended bolt handle; Super-Match trigger job with blue billet trigger & mag release; billet base & rings with Tru-Glo lighted scope; bi-pod and one-off custom 'gill ported' muzzle brake.

The targets Ryan showed me from break-in were exceptional. His plans are to get as many ground squirrels (we call them Gophers) as possible with it. Thanks much Ryan and good luck on your hunting trip up north!

This custom .22 LR rifle is another in my "New - Old School" series of custom designed 10/22s using absolutely the the best available modern parts and technology with the nostalgic look of an octagonal barrel. I designed the barrel and had it built to my exacting specs specifically for the "New - Old School" series of custom rifles I am building.

This custom was built by customer Jim Gaddy from WI.

Jim used a Heier built two-tone Super Match trigger assembly, our jeweled match bolt and Turcite-X buffer.

He finished the Raptor stock himself with 8 coats of Tru-Oil applied by hand. He used an E.R. Shaw helical fluted .17 HM2 barrel and a Mag Research heavy bolt handle and spring. For the scope he used a Leupold Vari-X 3 in 4.5-14x40AO with Leupold rings and base.

It appears that this is the "Big Brother" to the Red .22 LR he built. Great job Jim!

This custom target/varmint rifle weighs 7 lbs. and has fantastic balance, fit and feel. The balance point is at the magazine and the ergonomics of the Anshutz style grip are superb.

The features of this version of my "New-Old School" series are: New Ruger receiver; hardened and jeweled match bolt; Heier/Red Mist custom billet logo extended handle; Boyd's limited edition tactical target stock; my design 20" match octagon Whistle Pig barrel; Super-Match trigger assembly with Volquartsen internals, Tactical Solutions lever magazine release & custom trigger with an auto bolt release; Turcite - X buffer; Power Custom raised billet scope base;  quick detach (no tool) billet rings; Tru-Glo target series 6 - 24 x 50 AO lighted target scope - parallax adjustable from 15 yards with fine mil-dot reticule.

The scope is a top notch optic featuring 1/8MOA adjustment with true tactical turrets, paralax adjustable from 15 yards and two sunshades (3" & 4.5"). I use these scopes on my personal rifles.

The stock is a Boyd's limited edition target / tactical hardwood stock featuring one of the best Anshutz grips I have felt in many years, textured finish, 1/2" rubber pad and 3 studs. The LOP is 13.75 and the cheek weld is super. All the "elements" came together on this rifle.

The trigger pulls at slightly over 2 1/2 lbs and is very smooth and crisp. It has a "two-stage" feel and is perfect for the finger-on-trigger style of shooting that we varmint hunters employ.

I call these "New-Old School" because they blend the very best in modern parts and technology with that "old school" look of the octagon barrel. This series that I designed and have been building since 2005 has become my most requested build.

Full custom Race/Varmint crossover rifle.

This is the culmination of years of technical know-how and innovation. It was built specifically for the website logo and is number “1” of a limited series with this theme.

It features the first Predator stock and first ever octagon barrel designed by me and manufactured for me by Louie Braido of Whistle Pig Gun Barrel Co..

It was built in .17 Mach 2 caliber using a one-off (at the time) custom grey hard-coated billet receiver; Simmons Pro Varmint scope; custom hardened and jeweled match bolt assembly; Ultra-Match adjustable trigger assembly; custom gold anodized billet trigger; color matched Tac-Sol lever mag release and more.

This custom currently resides with Mike Rosa, Jr. in California.

This full custom tactical 10/22 is done in the .17 Mach 2 caliber. It was set up for all uses from home defense (day or night) to 100+ yard varmint shooting.

This rifle weighs a mere 5.75 lbs. is very quick to the eye and has a balance point at the trigger for exceptional handling. The trigger breaks cleanly at slightly over 2 lbs. 5 oz.

 I built this rifle for both target & varmint duty. The scope is not a "cheapie" 3-9 center-fire scope used by some other builders. This is a serious scope for a serious rimfire. It features the finest glass available, super-fine X-hairs found only on high end optics, target turrets and two sun shades.

This custom was built by a good customer Jim Gaddy from the great state of WI.

He used a custom hand fitted and finished stock from Heier's along with a Heier match trigger assembly, one of our custom bolt handles and "Prism" jeweled match bolt.

Jim stripped and polished the receiver and trigger assembly added a Ballistic Specialties trigger and Tactical Solutions mag release.

His rifle was finished with an E.R. Shaw helical barrel and a  Weaver scope (4-12X44AO)  using the Power Custom base and rings.

This very lightweight .17 Mach 2 was purchased by Jared Sisk of MO. He said he “was a sucker for all unusual and different” guns. This one certainly fits that description from the Volquartsen billet receiver and carbon fiber barrel to the awesome looking and fitting Predator Raptor stock. As a first time .17 Mach 2 shooter - Jared loves the 100+ yard performance of this little hot-rod round.

He’s also getting his little 8 year old daughter into shooting and is putting together a custom .22 for her using some parts he bought from me. This is one lucky young girl with a great dad. I'm betting it won't be too many years and his Mach 2 will be hers & he'll be needing another one!

This highly modified and customized Ruger Charger pistol was built to bridge the gap between rifle and pistol. This is the latest in my own series of Charger Pistol extreme upgrades. It is chambered in the .17 HM2 (Mach 2) that shoots extremely flat and averages 2,100 fps from a 17" barrel.

I designed this pistol to be used as a field carry weapon that would be primarily used from the prone or "laying" shooting positions but it can be shot standing with one or two hands. The grip is absolutely outstanding in shape and ergonomics and has been fitted for a medium to large hand. Got tree or ground squirrel problems? You won't for long with this bad-boy!

Everything from the stock to the barrel to the comp is "one-off" custom.

This full custom was built to the specifications of customer Mike Shapiro of Missoula, MT. Mike wanted to get a 10/22 as close as possible in look and feel to his JP Enterprises custom target AR-15. He will be using this 10/22 in the Rimfire competitions in the spring and summer.

This full – tilt tactical was built for a customer in Florida. He has two sons in the military proudly serving their country. He wanted a full on tactical 10/22 that would have the features they are familiar with and that they could shoot inexpensively when they got home.
